A little bit about Rachel...
Rachel has been practicing yoga since 2001 and teaching full-time since 2007. After becoming intrigued by the impact yoga was having on her life, Rachel decided to embark on a long trip to India to complete a teacher training with the Sivananda Yoga centre in Kerala in 2005 and an Ashtanga Yoga teacher training in 2006. Between both teacher trainings, she spent her time in Mysore and Goa practicing hatha yoga, Ashtanga yoga and pranayama.
Through her own personal journey, study of yoga and understanding of anatomy she is able combine her skills to the benefits of everybody. Rachel teaches from the heart with enthusiasm, warmth and humour to help guide everyone on their own personal journey. Through her curious nature and desire to learn, she has continued to study and practice yoga daily. Her practice doesn’t progress; it only deepens as she continues to discover the intricacies of this amazing and fascinating philosophy. She is practicing Advanced A series of Ashtanga yoga under the guidance of Hamish Hendry at Ashtanga Yoga London.
Rachel is a qualified soft-tissue remedial massage therapist (since 2009), Yoga Nidra teacher (since 2014) and is now Licensed GYROKINESIS® Instructor. She is due to complete her GYROKINESIS® Level 1 qualification in 2016.
