A little bit about Michaela...
Michaela began studying Ashtanga yoga in 1988 with her first teachers Derek Ireland and Radha Warrell. In 1997 she completed her teacher training with Derek and since then has continued to work with many wonderful teachers - including Pattabhi Jois, Sharath Rangaswami and John Scott, as well as practicing with Hamish Hendry and Ryan Spielman in London.
Highly experienced, she teaches classes and workshops in London, has developed yoga series for television and is the author of two books: Ashtanga Yoga for Women and Ashtanga Yoga for Beginners.
Michaela is keen to emphasize yoga not just as a tool for increasing strength, flexibility and physical fitness, but equally as a moving meditation which leads to peace of mind, the ability to focus, and a greater capacity for happiness.
