Class 2 of the Ashtanga Beginners' Course. A recap of Sun Salutation A and an introduction to Sun Salutation B. Sun salutation B builds on the Sun Salutation A and adds a cardiovascular element to the practice, helping to develop stamina and breath control. Please repeat this lesson until you have memorised the sequence, then move onto class 3 of the course.

I got into Ashtanga Yoga as a gym practitioner and I've become sufficiently interested to have discovered Yoopod via my teacher. I've just started lesson 2 of the basic course having mastered the first Sun Salutation in lesson 1 over the past week. A big learning experience for me has been the value of starting Ashtanga learning from the very beginning. Simply practising Ujjayi breathing alone and applying it to my gym class yesterday made a huge positive difference to my work in the class.
I will continue to work through the Ashtanga learning sequence and more mixed classes side by side. Doing this is imporving my practice enormously. Thanks Michaela and Eugene for a great basic course.
