Before taking this lesson, you must first start by practicing the postures up to, but not including, the warrior sequence. If you have followed the instructions in the previous lessons, you should be able to do this without watching the screen. You will then be guided through the first 5 postures of the primary series, followed by backbends and an introduction to Shoulderstand and Headstand. These are advanced asanas, so please go slowly, and if you feel any pain or strain in your neck, come out of the posture. Repeat until you know the sequence. Once you have done so you are ready to attend any ‘Mysore Style’ yoga class and can work with a teacher to learn the rest of the series.
