Despite having been doing Pilates mat classes for many years this is the first time I have had the Cat really explained clearly to me. Using the pelvis to initiate the movement is such a useful instruction.
When teaching the cat I find that some people find rounding/curling the spine very difficult. Alan's cueing was excellent and the transition into opposite arm / leg further cemented the understanding of the excercise.
Wonderful demonstration of spinal mobility in the cat :)
