Great class to return to - thankyou.
I see the comments on the tennis ball - I will get on to this too.
My feet are very sore and stiff.
Can you recommend another class for ankles and legs which uses the feet. Strange request I know but its an extension of getting these feet working propely.
Thank you

Julie C

Still loving this class - I do these exercises when I'm watching TV with my feet on a stool. One day I will see a knuckle!

Amazing!! :) Whether you will see a knuckle one day or not... you are doing your body a huge favor by doing these exercises regularly!!
Have you tried massaging your feet on a tennis ball? It can complement these exercises really well and help you with those knuckles :)

Julie C

Thanks Amit, I definitely use the tennis ball. I used to do this every time I went to Pilates class, it's a wonderful massage for your feet, but haven't done so for such a long time.

It's brilliant and I am glad to hear you know how to use the ball! Maybe go back to doing it a couple of times a week before classes or in the evening to release tension from tired feet? :)

Julie C

Oooh lovely! I've been having stiff feet and ankles when I get up in the morning. This is going to be my 'go to' exercise. Thank you Amit!

My absolute pleasure Julie :) I wish everyone knew of and took this class at least once a week... ;)

Amazing! I will definitely be doing this one regularly. My feet feel so good afterwards, thank you.

This is an amazing session. I would do this every day.

Rachael P

This is such a great session especially as my feet get sore. Makes my feet feel so much better and less stiff. Also helping my foot control and co-ordination in other exercises the more I do this session. Would love more of these devoted foot sessions.
Thank you!

Wow! I have flat feet and I'm just to always have tension and a vague pain in my feet. After this excercise they feel light and loose! Think I will do this daily

Thank you for sharing this!

Dear Verena and all
I am glad to hear you liked the class. As you now know, it is not as simple as it looks and working the feet can be quite challenging!
Seeing all your knuckles requires both mobility in the foot joints and strength in the foot muscles. I would definitely recommend massaging your own feet using your hands and/or rolling the feet on a tennis ball in order to improve the mobility of the joints. Use your hands to “shape” the feet into the dome- where you can see all the knuckles and/or shape your feet around the tennis ball to get the same effect.
Hope this helps!

Better practice this one, didn't even see one knuckle!surprised no cramp, but does feel good afterwards.

Tracy S

This is really hard, Particularly, doming the big toe and then the little toe. I think it will be awhile before I acheive that

Verena G

I really like this class! However, I don't see all my knuckles (mainly the big toe one). Will that get better with more training, or should I also do some stretches for the back of the foot?

julie H

Wow this gave me really bad cramp and my toes want to stretch instead of dome! I will try again though because it felt good to just work on feet. Hopefully I will be able to see all of my knuckles soon!
